POSITION:
Nine-month tenure track faculty position.
STARTING DATE:
As soon as January, 2008.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. in Communication Sciences & Disorders preferred, but ABD will be considered. CCC/SLP required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in: Organic Disorders, Neurogenic Speech & Language Disorders, Dysphagia, Voice Disorders, Diagnostics and Fluency Disorders; but other areas will be considered. Applicants must have fluency, or willingness to develop fluency in ASL, as well as a willingness to learn about Deafness and Deaf culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include teaching master's level courses, working closely with the speech-language pathology clinical staff, directing student research, and developing a research program in an area of expertise.
SALARY AND RANK:
Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
